Exterior renders of Allandale House by William O’Brien Jr. who is Assistant Professor of Architecture at MIT School of Architecture and Planning as well as running his own design practice.
I’m planning a making-of tutorial, but first I wanted to show some high res versions of the exteriors (interiors to follow) as they really should be viewed big for best effect! The following renders are my particular favourites of the exterior set, click for a high res version.

Great work Peter as always! I love the sublety of all your work! I assume the fog is courtesy of vray. Looking forward to your making of. wayne
Wow thanks for sharing the HQs they look amazing. I love the exterior shots with the contrast of the silver birch and the black caldding. Did you model the birch and the ferns, xfrog or some other way? I’d like to produce add some foliage similar to this to my student arc project. Also interested in the the misty atmosphere like wayne - is this the vray fog feature? I have not tried it myself yet.
Ah, great work. I can see you paid a special attention to vegetation
Another great vray fog showcase.
Looking forward for interiors!
Great looking house, and the vegetation looks really nice, too, as always.
Really great images. I am looking forward to seeing a tutorial on the process of creating these images. Your work is always inspiring.
Love the misty, autumn feel. Great composition too. The vegetation is great and subdued in a way that doesn’t overwhelm the building.
muito bom! obrigado pelos tutoriais!
Thanks for the hi-res shares. Very generous. Great work. Tutorial coming soon? Great balance between photoreal and abstraction.
Without doubt this is the best architectural viz i look forward to your Tutorial on this one.

hi, can you please show how you achieved the exterior material finish or give a link to how it is done. Did you model the metal panels or is it simply a material…?
Heck of a job there, it abosluetly helps me out.
